Raptured!

 

Danny had been standing on the podium, delivering a keynote address, in front of thousands of people gathered, with TV cameras live streaming, when he suddenly stiffened, looked up at the audience with a gleeful look and uttered the now famous lines, "He's here. Jesus is here," then poof, he was gone. Just like that. Disappeared. Vanished. Teleported away. Spirited. Gone.

That the venue was thrown into pandemonium would be an understatement. Of course, Danny wasn't the only one to vanish in the twinkling of an eye. Hundreds out of the thousands of people present were also "taken". That's the term the news media has been using, "taken".

According to them - the news media - there's been some kind of alien abduction; Aliens have abducted half of the world's population using some kind of advanced nanotech, something to do with quantum physics.

Of course, scientists have been brainstorming the whole thing, and governments have assembled a think-tank group to peruse the situation and offer an explanation while the rest of the world panics.

But some people - the Christians, the ones calling themselves the "left behinds" - have claimed that it is the Rapture of the church of Jesus Christ.

The news media made it a point to scoff at such claims of course, providing evidence of an alien abduction. The phenomenon did bring to light startling revelations the United States government and other world powers have been keeping secret - some area 52 kind of revelations.

But of course they cannot explain everything, nor can I ignore the Bible. It has become a new habit of mine, the Bible, and I am becoming increasingly convinced of the truths in it.

That and the fact that I knew Danny pretty well. If he was "raptured" then I believe him. I believe Jesus came to take His church. And I am hoping he takes me too. This world is no longer fun. There's been too many deaths, too many catastrophe, too many weeping.

Further more, according to my research based on some of the truths I have discovered in the Bible, the current darling of the world, with his peace talks and results, is the Antichrist.

Yes, I said it! Do your worst!
